Project Objective

The bank aims to conduct a comprehensive analysis of the performance of five ATMs over a seven-year period, spanning from 2011 to 2017.

Conclusion📌

1. Withdrawal Trends:
  • Fluctuations observed in total amount withdrawn and number of transactions, peaking in 2014 and declining thereafter.

2. Card Usage Patterns:
  • Visa Card consistently led in both total amount withdrawn and number of transactions throughout the seven-year period.
  • Master Card maintained a steady presence but with a smaller share compared to Visa Card.

3. ATM-Specific Performance:
  • KK Nagar ATM recorded the highest number of withdrawals, followed by Mount Road and Christ College ATMs.
  • Usage patterns between Master Card and Visa Card varied across different ATM locations.

4. Strategic Recommendations:
  • Tailor promotional strategies to align with dominant card preferences and high-traffic ATM locations identified.
  • Continuously monitor and adapt strategies to optimize service delivery and maintain transaction volumes.
